TNR Program

Our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program was created to help and improve the lives of local, unowned community cats through TNR, education, and advocacy of humane cat population control & the importance of spay/neuter. We are dedicated to prevent cat & kitten suffering by humanely reducing the homeless cat population.

Residents and businesses reach out to us for assistance, and our teams help trap the cats, transport them to the clinic where they are spayed/neutered, given a rabies vaccine, & ear-tipped for identification, and then the cats are returned to their original location.

We're looking for a special foster or adoptive home for sweet Zezi. ❤️ She came into our care last summer as an extremely shy kitten, and while she's still a quiet, cautious girl, she has come such a long way; once she trusts you, she'll seek out head scritches, curl up in your lap, and happily hang out close to you. Her favorite thing in the world is other cats; she follows her feline friends everywhere, naps beside them, and cuddles whenever they'll allow it. A home with a friendly cat companion would make her very happy.Zezi does have a few special needs. She needs a patient home that will give her time to settle in, and she's carrying some extra weight that we'd love to help her lose. She was also recently diagnosed with luxating patellas (kneecaps that easily slip out of place), which is another reason a healthy weight is so important.Despite all of that, Zezi is a wonderfully sweet cat. Give her a soft doughnut bed, another cat to adore, some food, and plenty of head scritches, and she's content. If you think you might have room in your home and heart for this special girl, please fill out our foster application or adoption application at cvrrescue.org. ...
