As the today comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge that today is 🌈 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. A day to take a moment and remember the beloved pets we have lost, and will always hold a place in our hearts.So many of us share the heartbreak and grief of losing a pet, and no matter how long it has been, the paw print they left on our hearts will be there forever.As a rescue, we sometimes have to say goodbye more often than we'd like, but we always try to make sure any animal in our care crosses The Rainbow Bridge with someone who loved and cared for them, even if for a brief moment in time.Author Deborah Barnes started Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day to give all pet-lovers a day to share memories of beloved pets that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge and are waiting for us there. We will be at the forestfarmersmarket this Saturday, August 29. Come by our booth and have a cuddle with our kittens, and maybe adopt one (or two)! Our booth is the last one furthest fromthe library. Also- we’d like to give a shout out and thank you to our fabulous volunteer Edie. She is there every week from 8am -12 pm and one of our fosters!
