*THE BEST YES*Remember Bella? Her story began with a "yes." Someone said yes to fostering a frightening little dog from an unstable home. She snarled. She growled. She gave us "the eye" and kep her distance until she was ready to trust. Her foster family said yes anyway. They gave her something every rescue animal deserves: time. There was no rushing her. No expectation that she had to be the perfect dog. Just patience, consistency, other dogs to help her feel secure, and a family willing to meet her exactly where she was.Bella’s foster family didn’t just give her a place to stay. They gave her the safety and confidence she needed to become ready for a family of her own—and by helping Bella move on, they created space for another animal who will need them. That is the power of fostering. Here's the big thing--foster homes relieve the pressure on our local shelters. Every animal who enters a foster home creates space for another animal in need. That space can mean more time, another opportunity—and sometimes, the difference between life and death. You don’t need to be an expert. You don’t need a perfect home or an open-ended schedule. You simply need a little space, a little patience, and a willingness to say, “You are safe with me for now.”For Bella, “for now” changed her whole life. She has found her new family and we couldn’t be happier. Could be that person for the next Bella or Moseley?
