His name is Pookie, but I call him…Wait for it…Keith Richards. 🥰 One thing I enjoy about fostering is getting to know their personalities. Five chihuahuas and five different personalities. Tonight, this guy is my favorite. They each take turns being my favorite based on some cool thing they do to win my heart. I am a hound-lover through and through but these littles have character. 💕Ol’ Keith, I mean, Pookie is the most chill of them all. Think of the good ol Rolling Stones song, 🎵 I’m just Waiting on a Friend 🎶 It fits. Pookie Keith Richards is not up for adoption quite yet. He needs to decompress some and would love to land in a quiet foster home. He enjoys soft food and looking chill. One of the things we provide as fosters for our dogs is a non stressful place to learn new things and prepare them to find just the right forever home. This weekend, Hobbes put on a new teeny tiny harness and experienced a walk with a leash for the first time. And we are happy to report he did great! Between learning how to play, go outside, social cues, etc., from his dad and the bigger resident dogs, he’s going be way ahead of the curve coming into a new home.You can still apply to adopt Hobbes, or if you’re interested in fostering, you can apply on line as well.
