Meet Grey Mama. 🩶For years, she quietly survived outside as part of a small colony of just five cats. In 2019, she was trapped, spayed through our TNR program, and returned to the only life she had ever known.Recently, Grey Mama needed surgery to remove one of her eyes. But during her recovery, something beautiful happened…She discovered that she loves being an indoor cat. ❤️Instead of wanting to return to life outside, Grey Mama has completely embraced the comfort, safety, and love of a home. She’s an absolute love bug who wants nothing more than to be close to her people.She adores chasing a wand toy, never says no to wet food with extra gravy (honestly, who would?), and is happiest curled up near the people she loves.Grey Mama is estimated to be 8–10 years old, and during her surgery we discovered she doesn’t have many teeth left. That’s why her tiny tongue is always peeking out! We always thought her adorable little “blep” was just part of her personality. Now we know it’s one more thing that makes her perfectly, uniquely Grey Mama. 🥹After spending so much of her life simply surviving, we want the rest of her story to be about living.A soft bed.A full bowl.Gentle hands.A warm lap.And the security of knowing she will never have to fend for herself again.This sweet one-eyed girl has waited years for a family of her own. Sweet "October" and "Hans" are the best boys! They live in a foster home with children and other cats. They are sweet and snuggly and could even be adopted together! Hans is a full on love bug who melts in your arms and October (though slightly more timid) loves to be with you at all times, purring and snuggling with his people.
