Sometimes the best dogs wait the longest. ❤️Ribeye’s journey began in a crowded South Carolina shelter, where a compassionate young couple saw something special in him. They knew he deserved more than a kennel, so they reached out to our rescue. Because they cared enough to act, Ribeye was given the second chance he so deserved.Since arriving in Virginia, this handsome 8-year-old Lab has proven to be everything you’d want in a best friend.🐾 87 pounds of pure love🐾 Wonderful with people—including children🐾 Great with cats🐾 House-trained with impeccable manners🐾 Loves his crate (it’s his safe place!)🐾 Enjoys leisurely walks, proudly carrying around his favorite stuffed toy, and soaking up endless belly rubs🐾 Would thrive as the only dog in the homeHis foster mom describes him as a lovable goofball with a gentle spirit and a hilarious personality.
